During the conflict between the UN powers and North Korea, an Italian contingent was sent there together with a camp hospital and its logistical support.

The card shows Italian and Korean stamps with the respective national cancellations. The Korean stamp honours our mission but shows by mistake the Imperial coat-of-arms in the central part of the flag.

Anyway, the postal service used by the Italians was the one of the U.S. Army.
